Bollywood star Salman Khan has sold his apartment in Shiv-Asthan Heights, Bandra West, Mumbai, for ₹3.50 crore. He had purchased the property for ₹2.88 crore in 2015.
Mumbai real estate: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has sold his 758 sq ft apartment in Mumbai’s premium Bandra West area for ₹3.50 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by CRE Matrix. The actor had purchased the apartment in 2015 for ₹2.88 crore, making a gain over his original investment after nearly a decade of ownership.
The apartment is located in Shiv-Asthan Heights, a residential project situated in one of Mumbai’s most expensive and sought-after neighbourhoods.
As per property registration records, the sale was registered on July 9, 2026. Multiple buyers purchased the apartment, while the transaction involved a stamp duty payment of ₹21 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000.
The registered documents show that the apartment has a carpet area of 758 sq ft. The deal also included two car parking spaces for the buyers.
Based on the carpet area, the property transaction was completed at approximately ₹46,000 per sq ft, highlighting the strong demand and premium property prices in Bandra West.
Salman Khan has a long association with Bandra and has been living at Galaxy Apartments for several years. Apart from his residence, the actor has invested in multiple residential and commercial properties across Mumbai.
This is not Salman Khan’s first property sale in Bandra. In July 2025, he sold another apartment in Shiv-Asthan Heights for ₹5.35 crore. The property had a built-up area of 1,318 sq ft, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards.
Earlier in June 2026, Salman Khan and his family received approval from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to develop a new residential tower in Chimbai, Bandra.
The upcoming project will come up on a plot owned by Salman Khan’s mother, Salma Khan. The land had a two-storey residential structure built before 1956. The Khan family acquired the property in 2011, and the old building was later demolished due to its poor condition.

Bandra West continues to be one of Mumbai’s most premium residential markets. Locations such as Pali Hill, Bandstand, and Carter Road are known for luxury apartments, celebrity homes, and high property values.
The area attracts homebuyers and investors due to its excellent connectivity, premium lifestyle, sea-facing properties, and strong demand for luxury residences.
Bandra West is also home to several Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Rekha, and Sanjay Dutt, making it one of the most desirable residential destinations in Mumbai.
